Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann final episode 27. The first anime to finish at episode 27 I think, and without a doubt, it marked a new benchmark for a mecha show. This episode, the Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, a galaxy-size mecha, broke the record as being the biggest mecha ever in anime history. The battle is at its super massive universe wide ever, with explosion equivalent to that of a Big Bang. I don’t think it can get any more massive than this for a final episode. I don’t know what to say as for the ending, this isn’t the first time, I felt sad more than joy at the end. A great anime indeed, but they killed off Nia and made Simon become wanderer or hobo of a sort. Gainax loves to anger their fan as usual. I felt sad for him. 20 years latter and all the characters look like it’s been 50. Well, great ending none the less, I would still be interested for an alternative in some other forms though. Get the pretty and sad wedding >here< (shall not forget Nia♥).
