Newtype October Issue 2007

Over half a month late, what was I thinking? Here it is at last, and from this issue on, I’ll be using a new scanning method which allows me to produce much higher quality scans at a reasonable compression for most people at a cost of a missing part in the middle (not much) of a double pages scan, which a good trade off I believe. This issue again talks about Rebuild Of Evangelion and a couple of new shows. Rebuild Of Evangelion has been mentioned many times before and as for new shows, it’s best that you watch them instead of reading columns of kanji (not really) for descriptions, I would still provide a short description where needed. No more Gundam 00 scans from me, at least not for this issue, watching Gurren-Lagann made me lose a fair amount of interest in Gundam, it’s just doesn’t seem to be as amazing, beside, there isn’t much new interesting info in this issue anyway, I might change my mind after watching the first episode this weekend though. This overview gonna be short.

                                            Newtype September Issue 2007

Bunch of info on the new upcoming Rebuild of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone.None of the info will be in this post though since I planned to put all the stuffs about this movies into a single separate post, expected to come pretty soon once I have time. This issue also cover Anime Expo 2007 or AX 2007, the yearly USA anime convention that recently took place at Long Beach, Los Angeles from June 29 to July 2. I am not gonna post more on this convention either since it took place in the USA, which didn’t concern me much even though it did have some famous singers and actors there. Well, other than the usual stuffs, not much else too write in this post except for a couple of sentences on upcoming anime, blame my laziness if you want (in your head).

                                                Newtype August Issue 2007

Hoorey-, this is the first formal post on this blog and yup, I decided to do a Newtype Issue for a start. Anyway, with this blog, I’ll try to do an overview on this magazine every month if I can. In this issue, we’ll take a look at the announcement of 涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱2期 (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2) and the up coming Gundam series called “00″ or “機動戦士ガンダム00” in full along with many other shows and some random stuffs.
